Requirements
Because
1. Certain programs have different age requirements,
as a condition of admission to
(a) The Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) program may be attended by persons as young as 16 years of age, with parental consent;
(b) The Patient Care Technician (PCT) program requires that participants be at least 17 years of age; and,
(c) The Medical Assistant applicants must be 18 years and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
(d) For all other programs (except CPR/BLS for the General Public) offered at Care Training Center, LLC, we ask that the individual be at least 18 years of age, prior to enrollment.
(e) Persons attending the CPR for the General Public course must be a minimum of eight (8) years of age. Please, see the Campus Director regarding policies on “Parental Accompaniment of Minors Attending CPR/BLS Courses.”
2. There is no “prior knowledge” requirement, as it is the responsibility and purpose of our facility to educate individuals in their field of interest.
3. Students need to have an interest in working with people, patience, and a pleasant personality.

5. The English language must be spoken, understood, and written well. However, please, note that we do offer the Certified Nurse’s Assistant course in Spanish.
6. A personal interview, a completed application and enrollment agreement, as well as all other registration forms must be completed prior to admission to any program.
7. Some of our programs, such as the Medical Assistant programs, require completion of high school education requirements, as evidenced by a diploma or GED.
