The Certified Nurse’s Assistant (“CNA”) program teaches basic skill sets (infection control, assisted daily living, restorative care; and take, measure and record vital signs) that enable the graduate to provide, safe, individualized care to patients in hospital and other healthcare facilities, as well as private placement.  All basic skill sets are administered and/or performed under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

The Certified Nurse’s Assistant program is one of the four (4) components/modules necessary for completion of the Patient Care Technician program.  Upon completion of the module, however, the graduate is eligible for employment as a CNA in area hospitals and other healthcare facilities.  Please, note that Care Training Center, LLC does encourage its students to complete CPR/BLS training, as a safety precaution and as a part of state requirements.  CNA graduates are eligible to take the state certification examination at the completion of the program.
