Care Training
Center, LLC
HISTORY
In 1998, CARE Training Center, LLC began as a small, private
occupational health training school, established by a local nurse in response
to the growing need for qualified, entry-level nursing assistants. Later that same year, Care Training
Center, LLC graduated its
first Certified Nursing class of three (3) students. Those three (3) students later passed their
state certification examinations. Since
the program’s inception, over two thousand students have enrolled in the school
and have gone on to pursue successful health careers.
As the enrollment at Care
Training Center,
LLC continued to increase, so did its goals in providing occupational
healthcare training to Connecticut’s
area population. The changes in health
care and the level of training that many employers required encouraged Care Training
Center, LLC to provide a
more diverse range of health career training programs. Today’s healthcare professional must be
multi-skilled and available to complete various tasks formerly associated with
medical technicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Our courses include those healthcare options
most desired and needed by the public and the healthcare industry due to this
consolidation of front-line patient care personnel. To meet the demand for
bi-lingual education and stringent certification requirements, Care Training
Center, LLC currently offers courses in Certified Nursing Associate (CNA),
taught in English and Spanish; Patient Care Technician (PCT), Phlebotomy
Technician, EKG Technician, Clinical Medical Assistant, Administrative Medical
Assistant, and Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
certification.
