The Phlebotomy Technician (Phlebotomist) education and training program at Care Training Center, LLC prepares its graduates to perform all aspects of specimen collection (venipuncture, adult and pediatric blood collection procedures, and other body fluids collection procedures).

The Phlebotomy Technician (Phlebotomist) program is one of the four (4) components/modules necessary for completion of the Patient Care Technician program. It is also offered as a singular program allowing education, training, and certification as a Phlebotomy Technician only.

Upon completion of the education and training components/modules the graduate is eligible for employment as a Phlebotomist in area hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Please, note that Care Training Center, LLC does encourage its Phlebotomy Technician (Phlebotomist) program students to complete CPR/BLS training for Healthcare Professionals, as a safety precaution when working with patients and as a part of state requirements.

A graduate of this competency-based program is eligible to take state and/or national certification examinations in Phlebotomy.
